New To The Land Of Etsy

Since I mentioned in my previous post that I killed my TripleClicks store, whatever I was selling there will now be sold on Etsy.  And that's a lot of hats...!

My Original Shop Is Dead...

I had to kill off my SFI business and TripleClicks shop.  The reason being was that I barely made one red cent.  Plus, it was getting too expensive just to retain my Executive Affiliate position.  Sure, it only cost me a few bucks here and there to maintain 1500 points every month, but I couldn't keep afloat.  Even my online store didn't even get a bite.  I almost had a customer overseas, but the international shipping costs are ridiculous!  So I figured it'd be cheaper to maintain my Etsy shop instead.  I'll basically be selling all my wares there instead.

That reminds me...I need to change that link on the side since my TC store is dead...

Starbucks & Music-Inspired Crowns

Didn't get to blog sooner; had some crap on my plate that needed to be disposed of immediately.  But in the process, I managed to crank out a few hats as a stress buster.  A little music and some Starbucks did the trick.  Now here they are...

"Loving You Always" - inspired by the song "As," performed by Stevie Wonder

What's New This 1st Of The Month?

Now that September will not return for another year and the hot, sticky weather has passed through like a bad fart, I can finally make my runs and crochet some stuff.  The muggy air had prevented me from touching base with a couple of connects at Venice Beach and driven me batty.  While it's still hot (Summer usually leaves Los Angeles for a few days and comes back like a boomerang), at least it's tolerable out here.

I've listed some funky fresh hats and patterns on Etsy.  Speaking of which, two things happened:

1) I sold a custom-made fedora to a lovely woman in New Jersey.

2) My broke behind couldn't even pay the damn Etsy bill on time.

So before I split and make this cash deposit, here are the newest listings:

Morning Sunrise Drawstring Tam

Belizean Pride Drawstring Tam (Big Ups 2 my Belizean brothers and sisters)

Swagger Fedora Pattern

Granny Square Rasta Tam, in pattern form

Hats Returning From The Graveyard

No, I'm not prepping for Halloween (too many bittersweet memories).  I stopped celebrating that mess after graduating high school.  Lately I've been fine-tuning my Etsy shop and contemplating whether or not to kill off my TripleClicks store (been stillborn for a year and a half).  Maybe I should take it off life support...

Anywho, here's what I've posted and forgot to post...

Some of these tams are also listed on my TripleClicks shop, but haven't even got a bite.  So now they're on Etsy.

Old Hats, New Life

I've put my little TripleClicks shop in the back seat for a bit, mostly because I've been spending my time on Etsy getting my crochet business off the ground.  Old hats I was selling on the first store got a few look-sees, but that's about it.  Maybe it'll be different on this second store.  But in case you missed them...
